What You Need To Become HVAC Certified

In order to become HVAC certified you need the following:

  1. You must have a high school diploma, however in some states they will accept the GED equivalent
  2. Get an HVAC certificate from one of the many approved schools and accredited trade programs. Remember this can vary from state to state.
  3. You must get your license from the state that you will be carrying out your HVAC work in
  4. There are different exams that must be passed depending upon what sort of HVAC job you will be doing

 

Do not be off put thinking that getting HVAC certification will be very hard. If you have previous experience working within the industry and already hold some qualifications, you will quickly discover that it is not as difficult as you may have first thought to get your HVAC certification. There are various options available and they cover those workers who may have been to a school or college. While there they may have gained an associate degree, or passed with a certificate or some other workers may have started out as an apprenticeship. Whichever option you take it is still possible to achieve your goal of becoming HVAC certified.
